As the owner of WoodRidgeHomes LLC, I got started in the construction business at a very young age. My father was an architect and builder. I remember when I was young enough to go down the street alone, I'd go down the street and visit building sites. The older I got, the farther down the street I'd go.
My wife Jan and I, along with our son Corbin, began building The Cottage Homes at Interlaken in early 2007. We wanted to build a home that would appeal to an ever-growing population of empty nesters and baby boomers in the area. We ended up with a home that offers just about everything people said they were looking for - the 'Cottage Home.' This concept offers a standalone or detached home with all the advantages of a single-family lifestyle, but without the maintenance and upkeep. We wanted to offer a unique and private surrounding for our homes to be built in, yet have it be convenient for those everyday trips for gas and groceries.
I am passionately involved in every stage of the process, including the personal supervision of the construction of your home. My choice to remain a smaller builder allows me to focus on building just a handful of quality homes each year. My homes are not defined by the square footage but by whether they fulfill your expectations and needs.
